Through the A2 portion of the course, I will be completing a main task, accompanied by two ancillary tasks. There are two ancillary tasks, i.e., a trailer advertising the film and a poster. Horror will be the main genre for the piece, with sub genres, such as slasher movie, explored where necessary alongside with exploration of hybrids such as com-horror. Conventions, such as iconography, stock characters and the final girl theory, will also be utilised in this piece. Like the AS part of the course, we will be working of small groups with approximately three members. With learned skills from the AS part of the course, we will each use our respective learned fields of strength to achieve the best possible outcome.
Work will be split equally between the group and links will be placed within the blog to create a final piece.
